01 Purpose

 

This Alumni Association is a non-profit organization that strengthens the exchange and development of the alumni association between China and UK. Adhering to the Strenuis motto of Ardua Cedunt, we will contribute to the development of study abroad and academic research in the two countries.

02 Member

 

Students from Anhui, Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Jiangxi and Hunan Provinces of China who are studying for a degree and graduating from Southampton University in the UK, other alumni and international students are also welcome to join our alumni association.

03 Rights and Obligations

 

Members of the Association are entitled to participate in various activities organized by the Association, free services such as consulting study abroad, visa, entrepreneurship, etc., as well as suggestions for improvement and development of the Association. Members should actively participate in and cooperate with the activities and work arrangements organized by the Association, and members should also follow the rules and regulations of the Association. If the member's improper behavior causes adverse effects and consequences, the association has the right to cancel his membership, and the member shall bear all the consequences.

05 Organization Mechanism

 

 

The association has set up 1 president, 10 vice presidents, 1 director of department of alumni management, 3 directors  of department of activity planning, 2 directors of outreach department, 2 directors  of department of publicity and promotion, and 2 directors of secretarial department.

 

Presient is appointed by the Southampton University Alumni Association China, and the other members are appointed by the president according to the actual situation to assist the president in developing the alumni association.
